Boho Eclectic Airbnb
Multi-room Short Term Rental Project
My design strategy for this property was to bring the outdoors in, creating a seamless connection between the interior and the natural surroundings. To achieve this, I chose a deep, rich hunter green paint as the anchor for the space. This bold color choice provided a grounding effect and set the tone for the entire design.
Boho Eclectic Airbnb
Incorporating warmer earth tones and textures was essential to balance the deep green and create a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I selected a variety of materials, including natural wood, woven textiles, and soft fabrics, to add depth and warmth to the space. These elements not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal but also contributed to a comfortable and relaxing environment. To complement the earthy tones, I added industrial black and white art pieces. These artworks provided a modern contrast and added an edgy, eclectic vibe to the overall design.
The combination of contemporary art with boho textures and natural elements resulted in a unique and harmonious space that perfectly captured the eclectic boho style the clients were looking for. The clients were thrilled with the end result and shared that they repeatedly receive positive feedback from their guests. Visitors often comment on how much they love the design of the house and enjoy staying there. This project was a testament to the power of thoughtful design in creating a space that is both beautiful and functional, leaving a lasting impression on all who experience it.

Modern Vacation Rental
Multi-room Project
My clients Alan and Heather reached out after realizing that they weren’t getting as many bookings on their rental property as they had hoped. During our Zoom meeting, I conducted an audit of their listing and immediately saw that their property needed some design help along with new professional photos to really stand out.
Modern Vacation Rental
Since the property was also being used by Alan and Heather from time to time, it was important to include an ample-sized desk for Alan to use when he was there. I created a design that incorporated the desk and utilized a few of their existing pieces, which helped maintain the budget. The goal was to create a more welcoming, modern, and transitional design for their guests to enjoy. The process went smoothly, and after the final design was approved, I provided shopping links and detailed instructions for furniture placement. Within four weeks, the cottage was up and running, and Alan and Heather were ready to rent out the property. They were thrilled with the transformation and reported an increase in bookings, with guests frequently complimenting the stylish and functional design.
Another project involved a wonderful couple, Willie and Sabrina, who needed help with their downstairs family room that led right out to their dreamy outdoor space. They signed up for my two-room design package. Initially, they weren't completely on the same page design-wise, but after going through my questionnaire and Zoom calls, we developed a great design plan. I successfully incorporated their different styles and fused them together, resulting in a final design that they both loved. Mission accomplished!

Urban Contemporary Vrbo
Multi-room Vacation Rental Property
My clients Lauren and Jacob had a fantastic condo in Brooklyn near lots of shopping and restaurants. They were interested in renting out their place online as a short-term rental and were introduced to me through a mutual friend. Meeting them in person allowed us to walk through the space together and discuss their vision. Given the vibrant location, it was important to incorporate some of the surrounding Brooklyn charm into the home.
Contemporary Vrbo
After presenting two concept boards, a clear winner was chosen, and an Urban Contemporary design was underway. This design aimed to create an open, airy property with great flow to accommodate multiple guests. I focused on integrating Brooklyn vibes throughout the space, ensuring that the condo reflected the unique character of its surroundings. The project proceeded smoothly, with a detailed shopping list and floor plan provided to Lauren and Jacob. The end result was a beautifully designed property that not only looked stunning but also functioned well for short-term rentals. Lauren and Jacob were thrilled with the transformation and have had a steady flow of bookings ever since they listed the property. They are now looking to invest in more properties and have expressed interest in my help with the design for their next venture.

Behind the eDesign Vacation Rental Project done online!
As an eDesigner specializing in contemporary modern design with an eclectic twist and boho details, I recently completed a project for a couple entering the short-term rental industry. They sought to transform their mother-in-law house, perfectly accessible through the backyard, into an inviting vacation rental. As a super host myself, I provided them with extensive advice during our initial consultation. They requested two views of the space and opted to pay extra for the second final design. This approach allowed them to envision how the space would look for their guests, helping them see the big picture before committing to any shipping list items.

Jeremy found my Airbnb design package online. He had recently renovated his family's cottage upstate and was looking to start renting it out to generate passive income. This was his first rental, so he wasn't entirely sure what was needed and didn't want to deal with figuring out the design and sourcing all the furniture and decor. This isn't the first a new owner has come to me for guidance.
Cottage Getaway
During our Zoom consultation, we did a virtual walkthrough of the space, and I was provided with photos. I developed a strategy, timeline, and budget for Jeremy, and the entire process went very smoothly. After the final design was approved, shopping links were sent along with detailed instructions for furniture placement.
