Q. What is eDesign?e-design is exactly what it sounds like: interior design services offered virtually (think Zoom meetings, phone calls and/or emails in your sweats). E-design lets us connect from the comfort of your home. No need to deal with traffic or subway delays. Whether you live downtown, down under or somewhere in between we can create a customized design that feels authentically you.

Q. How long does it take + timeline?Virtual Design typically takes between 2-3 weeks to be completed. Full-service design does take longer as we are dealing with different vendors, lead times, contractor availability, etc. As we move along in the process, I will be able to give you a better idea of the timeline. You are in the drivers seat here so as long as you respond back in a timely fashion, 2-3 weeks you will receive the finished product.

Q. How do you handle if something is out of stock from my shopping list?I will only choose items that are in stock. If within 30 days of completion you go to order an item and it is out of stock, just let me know and I will provide you with 2 additional options that will work in its place. The intent with e-design is to purchase items sooner rather than later since retailers often discontinue items or pieces go out of stock. If you decide to make your purchases after 30 days and the items are out of stock and you need alternate options, additional fees would apply.

Q. Will I be able to communicate with the designer?Absolutely! We will be chatting throughout the process and always feel free to send me an email or text and I will gladly get back to you.

Q. What if I want to keep some of my old furniture?It may be time to retire some older pieces or hand me downs to make room for some new life and memories, but that is completely up to you! I am happy to try and work with some of your existing furnishings and will do my best to make them work in the space. I am a big fan of mixing the old with the new. Please include photos and dimensions of the pieces that you want to keep.

Q. Do I have to purchase everything on the list?Absolutely not! The detailed shopping list is meant for you to duplicate the design we just created together. If you find something else that you absolutely fall in love with by all means go for it!

Q. What budgets do you typically work with? Will you work within mine?Letting me know your rough budget and max budget is important when choosing pieces for your final design. I love selecting design dupes and look alike pieces to help keep your budget in check; but also knowing when to spend a little more for that special piece. It's very important for me to stay within those guidelines because I am a thrifty shopper at heart and love the challenge of a budget restraint to the overall design.

Q. What if I'm not liking the end result?This hopefully won’t be the case as you will be signing off on all products and the final design. My goal is ALWAYS to have a happy client, so if for some reason you are not loving the end result, I will make sure to do whatever is necessary to make the changes needed.
